I was drawn to Radicle on my never-ending search for the unknown. All throughout my life, a perennial fantasy of mine is stepping into a pair of weathered leather boots with a compass in one hand and an incomplete map in the other, surrounded by kindred spirits, hearts set on adventure. Minus the leather boots, Radicle is just that. We are a team of cerebral, passionate young thinkers focused on plumbing the depths of innovation, unsure of exactly what we’ll find, filling in our map as we go.
Prior to joining Radicle, I had the privilege of working for Walmart, the storied mega-retailer. Right out of college, I was assigned the task of co-managing the company’s fitness eCom category, personally responsible for tens of millions in annual gross merchandise value. Further, I was tasked with stewarding the category through the tidal wave of demand, following Covid lockdowns, marshaling in record highs for both revenue and profit.
Before Walmart, I, again, was extremely privileged to spend a summer with the Birthright Excel Fellowship. I got the spend my summer in the Startup Nation, engaging with some of the most intellectually stimulating young professionals, both American and Israeli, and participating in an accelerator program, Excel Ventures. My two co-founders and I developed Bluum, a marketplace for personal coaching that enhanced coaches experiences with clients and expanded coaches capacity to work with more clients. Following the summer, my co-founders and I were all heading different ways, so we decided to press pause, but it’s still an idea I’m passionate about. Who knows? Maybe I’ll learn something, or meet someone, at Radicle that convinces me to go for it…
I’m so grateful to have joined this company. In just my first 6-weeks, I’ve worked on the most fascinating projects, spoke with magnetic founders, and made friends that I see lasting a lifetime, without even meeting them in person. When I’m not working, I’m reading, playing video games, listening to pods, and nagging my friends to play Catan with me.
